When Gaze Lab came to us, they were already a couple of weeks into their campaign, and had reached a plateau. Another agency had helped them get some low-tier media, but it wasn’t driving traffic to their Kickstarter page.
The issues continued to the page itself. The video was edited in an awkward way and the voiceover sounded like it had been translated into English by a drunk robot. This was largely true of the campaign page text, too.
First, we rewrote all of the content on their Kickstarter page to focus on the primary value proposition to customers: Gaze is the world’s smartest standing desk, endlessly adjustable just for you. We also wrote a new script for their video, recorded a flawless voiceover track, and advised them on how to re-edit the video. Then we gave them a 30 second version of the video, especially for use on Facebook.
Once the campaign was ready for its second debut, we helped them get a prominent placement on The Verge, one of the hottest tech and gadget sites on the web.
